Today we celebrated Father's Day. Well, I don't know if you can exactly call this one a celebration. It's more like a recognition of sorts. There was a big elephant following everyone around all day. This should have been Brian's first father's day. A significant day in the life of a new dad. I'm angry and sad that he's not here to enjoy it. For sure he would have waltzed in the room, with a strut only Brian could produce, with his chest puffed up a little more because he'd proudly be carrying his girl in his arms.
Well Brian, you and Kelby made a beautiful person. She's bright-eyed and gifted. Thank you for letting her into our lives...
On a lighter note, my dad is officially a Croc-wearer.
